2008 Bodywork regulations
All bodywork will need to meet with the old 2007 regulations at minimun for the 2008 race season. If it is possible to compliy with the 2008 MSA regulations on bodywork, chassis permitting please do so.

Seat Washers
There must be a washer of at least 1.5mm thickness a minimum surface area of 13sq cm or min diameter of 40 mm – on each anchorage point between the seat and supports

New weight limit for 2008
The weight has been increased by 2kg to 182kg. This will hopefully make it a more level playing field.

Transponder Position.
Transponders must be mounted in an upright position with the 'R' clip on top, fixed to the back of the seat at a height of 25cm +/- 5cm from the ground.

Secondary Brake Connections
A secondary connection must be in evidence between the brake pedal and the master cylinder to provide redundancy in the event of a failure. All brake cables must be a minimum of 1.8mm thickness.

Enclosing Chain Guards
The Championship is run to the MSA regulations, so all karts are required to have chain guards installed that cover prevent access to the drive train above the line of the axle
